5 of 5 Best extract stout kit out there November 8, 2015

What a bargain! Think I gotta do this one 2-3 times a year. An excellent stout as is, or as a base for some experimentation. I did two kits split out into four batches. One batch as directed, one chocolate, one chocolate coffee and one blackberry. All turned out very good. I added an oz of homegrown Nugget at 20 mins and used BRY-97 and 1272 as my yeast choices. Can't say enough about the blackberry batch. Going to take a bottle to a local brewery that makes a very good blackberry stout and embarrass the brewer lol.
