This yeast makes a fantastic Pilsner, but the trick is that it likes to ferment a little bit warmer than most Lager yeasts. Try 58F for a quick start and a clean, well attenuated beer.

Did a split batch with the this yeast and Saflager W34/70. Took this yeast 168 hours to start. Haven't gotten to tasting but the start would prevent me from buying again.
