I've used M44 a handful of times on recipes that feature a lot of hops. It has performed well every time. However, it is a SLOW starter. Even after oxygenating my wort and rehydrating the yeast according to Mangrove Jack's instructions, I still experienced a 30+ hour lag time until I saw bubbles in the airlock.
That being said, I now have that beer on tap and the flavor is amazing. Yeast character is totally neutral and the hops punch through beautifully. A nice bonus is the high flocculation of this yeast. All in all, it gets the job done well and drops out like rock...you just have to wait for it to start. Consider rehydrating and pitching it in a starter a day or two ahead of time if you really want a shorter lag phase.
