Bought one of these and was happy but after only 4 brews it developed a crack that went all the way through. This was in the side wall not the bottom, from a chip, bang, ect. I have 2 Mexican glass 5 gal carboys that have been with me over 10 yrs and have done 3 moves through multiple states and dont have a scratch on them. Very disappointed in this. I bought the Italian glass because it was supposed to be the superior over the Chinese

WARNING! The neck of the carboy is not similar to other carboys so your standard carboy handle will not work on it. Plus the body of the carboy is a lot thicker than your normal carboy so it did not fit in my mini-fridge for cold crashing.  Needless to say I was upset.
