I've used this for about 8 brews. There are many cracks forming, some fairly wide, all of which are happening right down the middle of the paddle and coming straight out the top and bottom of the wood. The pattern suggests a mistake in choosing the grain used for this. I don't anticipate this being a very long lasting product before it fails.
