5 of 5 Great Dunkleweis June 16, 2019

Due to a thermometer malfunction, I wound up with only 2.5% ABV, but the taste was fantastic.  Lots of clove and only a hint of banana which was exactly how I wanted it.  Smooth drinking and tasty beer.

5 of 5 Great Flavor with Silky Smooth Mouthfeel November 29, 2018
Reviewer: Tysen from Minnesota
Maybe it's because I pitched the yeast near the top of the fermentation range but I ended up with a great balance of banana and clove flavor from this yeast.  The beer matured rapidly and had the cloudy look you want from a good Hefeweizen.  The mouthfeel was silky smooth and there was a subtle spiced bread note in the finish that had me coming back for more.  After 2+ weeks in the keezer the beer began to clear up considerably.  The flavors were a little muted then but still balanced and easy drinking.  This yeast was such a great performer it will take some convincing to try something different.  As always with homebrewing, your mileage may vary.  Give this yeast a try.  I don't think you'll be disappointed.

4 of 5 Mangrove Jacks M20 Bavarian Wheat yeast February 21, 2014

Clove, Clove, & Clove! don't get me wrong, I liked this yeast, it started fast. Produced the cloudiness as expected, fermented aggressively and made an all around good wheat beer.but the dominate flavor is clove. I will use it again, but may combine it with another style yeast for a little more depth of character.
