For Mangrove Jack's, the raspberry/mango blend or peach/passionfruit blend might be too fruity, and the original plain flavor might be too plain, but this Strawberry/Pear blend is a perfect medium between the flavor profiles.
Typically, pear is bland, but fermentation makes fruit flavors a bit more sour and bitter. The end flavor ends up being smooth and balanced, mixed with the delicious flavor of strawberries.
And, like other Mangrove Jack brew pouches, making this was no problem.
P.S. Double the sugar amount from 2.5 pounds to 5 pounds to get a 10-12% cider, highly recommended!
