Please be aware that the "contains real fruit concentrate" mentioned appears to be actually Apple concentrate. To achieve Pear cider, there is a small packet of "pear flavoring" that that is included in the kit and is added to the cider.  It does make a cider that is Pear flavored, but if you wanted to make an actual Perry, you will need to find real pear concentrate.

I do all grain brewing so this was supper easy. I made a yeast starter out of gerber pear juice. Found this in the baby food isle at Walmart. Finished  out at 4.2% abv. I will bye this again taste great! Wife loves it!

2 weeks in primary, 1-2 weeks in bottle, girlfriend loves it. compares to woodchuck cider in my opinion. i used 170g dextrose for priming 5.25 gallons

good stuff.

took appox. 4 weeks before I enjoyed the taste

I added the sweetener packet to this one (not to the apple cider one) and the mrs. enjoys it too
