5 of 5 5 stars is not enough! June 27, 2025
Reviewer: Andy Loftus from Champaign, IL United States
Absolutely amazing! Imagine that perfectly refreshing drink on a summer day ... Light, tasty and hits the spot. This is the bier version of that memory!

I converted this recipe to all grain and fermented with T-58 (rehydrated). Multi-step mashed using HERMS; 30 mins at 65C; 50 mins at 68C. Fermented 19C for 24 hours, then rise to 26 over 5 days and hold for the remainder of 2 weeks. Dry hopped at 12 days. At 2 weeks, start cold condition (from 26C to 2C over 5 days) for 2 more weeks. Kegged last night and drinking it tonight while writing this review.
Final note, I forgot the Saaz steep after boil so put them in with the other dry hops.

Edit 1: I also forgot the corn sugar (noticed this because I'm planning to brew it again in Aug) and since I want to repeat the same beer, I'm going to skip the corn sugar again.

5 of 5 One of the Best February 8, 2018
Reviewer: Mike S. from Hartford, WI United States
This beer was one of the best I have brewed by far. This will definitely be one of the staple beers in my keezer. Some of the changes I made to this recipe: Added 1lb of honey at flameout and added orange peels to last 10 min of boil. Thumbs up from everyone so far with this beer!

5 of 5 Excellent IPA June 4, 2015
Reviewer: JJ from Rainforest Brewery Subic
I made this with M27 Belgian Ale Yeast. Left it in Primary for 5 weeks (dry hopped at 4 weeks). Let it bottle condition for 8 weeks and it was the hit of the party. My OG was a bit higher than instructions said, I got 1.077 and my FG was 1.004 which meant a 9.6% IPA. Still tasted great without alcohol burn and was well received. I have to start another batch of this ASAP.

If you like tripels and you like hoppy beers then this one will not dissapoint.  Currently on my 2nd batch which has been in the secondary for 3 months bulk aging.

5 of 5 OMG is this stuff good November 4, 2013
Reviewer: Possum Trot Brewery from Indiana
If you like a Tripel and you are a hop head this is a must.
I've hit final gravity both times of 8.7% and love this beer as much as I love the normal Tripel.
I will always have a Tripel and this IPA in house.
