Lactose - aka milk sugar - is unfermentable, giving this beer a sweet, milky taste. Briess Blackprinz malt gives the beer its pitch black color, while contributing moderate roast flavor without bitterness.

Simple brew day. Primary fermented for 3 weeks and then bottle aged for one month so far. Cracked open first one the other day and perfect carbonation with a bold smooth taste. With age should only get better. Will brew again for sure and look forward to brewing the chocolate version in the future.

I added 8 oz of cacao nibs in secondary and made a nice chocolate coffee flavor.  Will definitely make this one again.
