The bottoms of the carboys have what appears to be a crack, and you can see a few air bubbles in the walls of the glass. That being said mine are all full no leaks and they work great!!

bottom line visual flaws not affecting the performance of this product. planning on buying again sooner than later.

Carboy had a scratch across the bottom. Contacted Ritebrew and got a quick reply, explanation and offer to replace. Kept the carboy....works fine. Scratch not an issue. Great site.
