5 of 5 Cream Ale Kit May 12, 2017
Reviewer: George Toney from Appleton, WI United States
Used Safbrew S-33 instead of the recommended yeast due to trying to brew for lower calories and carbs. Dry pitched it at 70 degrees and was concerned that I made a mistake using the non-recommended yeast due to how quickly it took off- literally fermenting like crazy after just a couple of hours and then died off just as quickly after about 3 days. Let it sit for another 4 days in the primary and while no visual fermentation was taking place, it did continue to ferment a bit more. Spent 3 days in a secondary with consistent FG, then I lagered for a week and a half and kegged. Sat for a week in the keg and I have only just started the keg, but it's definitely what I expect from a Cream Ale- light, refreshing, and not too hoppy.

5 of 5 getting better every day April 15, 2016
Reviewer: Major Wood from Eau Claire, WI United States
It's almost gone now, most of it has been given away.  All reports corroborate my own experience with this Cream Ale:  everybody agrees that it gets better with each passing day.  Until it's gone.  Then it's time to brew some more.

4 of 5 Cream Ale October 20, 2013
Reviewer: John Mielke from Watertown, WI United States
This is a good kit for a reasonable price. A little hop heavy for the style which could easily be altered by reducing the amount of the hop addition at the 15 minute mark.
That being said, I have had it in the bottle now for about a month and it is starting to smooth out and the hops flavor is a little more subtle.

I brewed 6 recipes from RiteBrew for a wedding and the Cream Ale was one of the favorites! Great recipe and nice smooth drinking brew.
