2 of 5 Hard to remove March 24, 2017

Using my stand corker these corks inserted into the wine bottle fine and made a good  seal. Our problem with them was removing them from the bottle. When we tried pulling them from the bottle using several different corkscrew  type openers the corks would crumble or break in half. It was rare to uncork a bottle without problems. I gave some of these corks to a friend and he experienced the same thing. These corks are bad enough that I quit using them even though I have close to 100 left.

I liked the quality of the cork but had some trouble inserting them with a hand corker.  They seem a little larger then other #9 sized corks.  They all went in and sealed well.
