5 of 5 Excellent keg-glad I purchased new instead of used March 6, 2017
Reviewer: GeorgeT from Appleton, WI United States
Around 6 months ago I got back into home brewing after about a 10 year absence. Shortly after making my first batch I remembered the one time consuming task I really hated- bottling. So I decided to get into kegging and converted an old mini-frig into a kegerator. I'd add getting a kegging system to getting a wort chiller and siphon as the best equipment purchases I've made. After researching other options and reading lots of problems that people have had with used and reconditioned kegs, I bought 2 of these new kegs from Ritebrew. They seal well and I haven't had any issues with either of them. Well worth spending a little more for new kegs.

5 of 5 Kegs are Great! November 24, 2016
Reviewer: Dennis Haltinner from Appleton, WI United States
I bought two of these.  I was amazed at the quality.  Much better than used kegs.  I thought I would miss the rubberized top, but found it totally unnecessary.  It was much easier to attach Ball Locks, without the added rubberized rimes.  Great quality on the kegs.  Great service from RiteBrew!!

5 of 5 Great Ball-Lock Keg May 2, 2016
Reviewer: Kyle Bindrim from Elkhorn, WI United States
The used kegs you can get are increasing in price as home brewing becomes more popular and used ball lock corny kegs are becoming difficult to find. I bought this a couple years ago to keep my equipment all ball lock and the price was good. I did have an issue dispensing when I first tried to use the keg, but I took everything apart for the next beer, everything looked fine - put it back together and I haven't had an issue in years now. I recommend taking it apart when you get it, originally I just gave it a good cleaning without taking the in and out valves apart. And it's great not having dents everywhere you get on used kegs, this keg hasn't had any issue holding pressure while I've used several used kegs that always struggled to hold pressure.

4 of 5 One little surprise December 20, 2014
Reviewer: Gary Hamilton from Dayville, CT United States
I have had a few problems with used corny kegs and decided to try some new kegs. This arrived a few days ago. It was still pressurized (good!) but I was surprised to see a different size hex nut on the posts. Your 13/16" won't work on these bad boys. They are 17mm. Workmanship on the keg was as expected. Tentatively I am pleased other than needing to buy another deep well socket.
